Collecting Childrens Annuals

Investment Coupled With Nostalgia

A long time ago my life seemed to  be dominated by publication of the various weekly childrens comics, and then at Christmas the childrens annuals. I must have had hundreds of comics and a couple of dozen annuals stashed away in my bedroom. They were a great read and kept me out of mischief.......

Until these last few years.

As I have got older I have gone back in time and started to collect childrens annuals as investments. Okay, they are not going to make me thousands of pounds, but it's fun and it is possible to double your money. It's great to look at the annuals and go back to my childhood and I am sure many people do the same thing.

I started out collecting the Victor Book for Boys and I soon realised that sourcing the books online was possible, but time consuming. So I built a website just for The Victor Book where I could see all the Victor Books available on Amazon with a couple of clicks of the mouse. This saved me a great deal of time in the long run. Within a few weeks I had a complete collection of the annuals all in excellent condition.

Having completed that collection I moved on to the The Beezer Book, Bunty Book, Hotspur Annual and more. As a result of this expansion I have built this website to aid in my collecting and it is available to everyone for the same thing. Each annual has a page showing the front covers of the books and with a couple of clicks you can see what Amazon has to offer relating to the specific annual you want.

Over the weeks the number of annuals available via this site will increase satisfying all of our needs. If you are really interested in an annual not mentioned here yet,  feel free to ask me to add it.

You will see that there are a few front covers missing from some of the pages. If you have a suitable image of the missing cover please help your fellow collectors by uploading it to me so I can add it to this site. The upload form is located at the bottom of the pages of book covers.
